The man can sing, be it tenor or falsetto, and his session players are awesome (i.e. I just don’t know what took me so long to figure out who had this beautiful voice and mug. One star for the sellers shipping/packing method. I must admit that a couple of songs are too slow for my taste ("Drowndeep" and "Know These Things"), but that doesn't matter much. The subtitles, the vague lyrics, and Max's idea of "musze" all prove Max is an eccentric character, yet one can get past this and appreciate the music. Too bad all cd sellers don't reinforce their items with cardboard before shipping like some do.
;o)CD arrived with a cracked case. 4.0 out of 5 stars Maxwell's "Embrya" is aligned with some excellent funk basslines and musical compositions. Hope to get it autographed one day....Love him! I sometimes wish I could have a hot tub room with speakers in the corners and could just chill in there up to my chin in the bubbly. Embrya was originally received unfavorably by most critics. Granted, you might also say the same for "Embrya" and "Gestation", which are the last and first tracks, respectively. Maxwell's "Embrya" is aligned with some excellent funk basslines and musical compositions. CD arrived with a cracked case. I love every song on this CD.
