I was surprised at how well President Roosevelt wrote. Love of peace is common among weak, short-sighted, timid, and lazy persons; and on the other hand courage is found among many men of evil temper and bad character. I did not like this book and would only recommend it to someone who either wants to know why President Roosevelt made specific decisions or someone studying early 20th century American politics. I probably should've read the product details more thoroughly. -
